Lon’s Artist in Residence Dinner Series continues with very special guests, The Brothers Cazimero, at 6:30 PM on Friday, November 11, 2011.
Get ready for Cazimero magic! Consummate performers and masters at their craft, Grammy nominees Robert and Roland Cazimero, have produced a style of music that has become part of the fabric of Hawaiian history. They have released an unprecedented 37 albums. Their talent, longevity and sales success over the past 30 years have placed them in a league all of their own, untouched by any other performer in the history of Hawaiian music. Their music is celebrated around the world – from Carnegie Hall to the Hollywood Bowl, to San Francisco, Australia, Hong Kong, Tokyo and beyond!
The night begins in the Spirit of Aloha with a ‘meet and greet’ wine reception with The Brothers accompanied by hula dancers in the sculpture gardens. The evening continues inside Lon’s private library with the Brothers over a sumptuous four-course dinner paired with hand-selected wines, followed by a salon-style evening as they share entertaining stories about their fascinating culture and customs, joyous songs, phenomenal career, along with a few surprises thrown in! A Q&A follows along with a signing of their new cd.
Early reservations are recommended and can be made by calling LON’s at the hermosa at 602-955-7878. The cost is $125 per person (includes tax and gratuity) http://www.hermosainn.com/az/events-calendar/cazimero-artist-in-residence.shtml
